We-Space Development

What happens when we intentionally shift our focus of awareness and spiritual practice?

Dr. Stacey invites us to build on our foundational spiritual practices by widening them to include finding deep connection with other people – all people, regardless of who they are and what they believe, even if it is different from us.

Based on her doctoral dissertation research, spiritual practice, and teachings, Dr. Stacey offers an experiential workshop that will give participants tools for cultivating a shared, loving, dynamic space with others.

Workshop Flow (2.5 - 3 Hours)*

Introductions, Welcome, and Grounding Practice

  • What It Means to Connect Deeply: An Overview of Research and Philosophy

  • Practice #1: Sensing Me (an individual practice to prepare for deep connection)

  • Discussion on Sensing and Different Ways of Knowing

  • Practice #2: Sensing You (a practice for connecting with one other person)

  • Introducing the Concept of the 3rd Entity

  • Practice #3: Sensing We (a practice for sensing who we are together)

  • Dialogue and Sensemaking Our We

  • Closing with Gratitude

*Please note that I am also available to deliver the Sunday message on the same topic. When combined with the workshop, the workshop would be two hours long and can be held on Sunday afternoon following services.
